Not a cider as it is made with plums. We used an ancient recipe from Britain for an alcoholic beverage made with only the juice of stone fruit. The plums are "jerked" and the extracted juice is "chucked" into a vessel and allowed to ferment. The tart flavour is balanced by the natural sweetness of the plums. Low residual sugar, rich aroma and beautiful colour.
